Anna Albertini thought spring would bring a little peace. She really should know better by now.
First, her cousin Lacey blows back into town from Detroit, and within days Detective Pierce has her in handcuffs on a felony charge. Anna knows two things: Lacey didn’t do it, and Pierce is going to be insufferable while Anna proves it.
