FIVE chances to win CLAIMED–right here, right now

on September 19, 2011

UPDATE:  Random.org went to work and the winners are:  Danielle Gorman, Lucy Dosch, Kelly Mueller, Stacy McKitrick, and Elizabeth Sogard.  I’ve emailed the winners seeking addresses.  Congrats to these folks and thank you to everyone who commented!

The wonderful Megan Records sent me early promo copies of CLAIMED, which is Book 2 of the Dark Protectors.  For this week and this week only, I’m giving away five copies.  I have many copies of FATED to give away during my ongoing blog tour, but my CLAIMED copies are few and far between.  So now is the time to enter–and I’ll have random.org choose five names after midnight on Friday, September 23rd.  The contest is open world wide.  You just need to leave a comment below to win.

Also, don’t forget to check out my blog tour for chances to win FATED!  So…good luck!  If you need a prompt…here it is:  What do you think is scarier–an enraged werewolf or a furious vampire?

A random update day…

on August 29, 2011

This is one of those random catch-up days on my blog.  Tempted is due at Kensington on Thursday, so I’ve been busy editing and getting it ready to send to Megan.  I have to say, I truly enjoyed writing Max’s story.  He had some depth.  If you haven’t checked out the cover for Tempted, take a look.  It’s pretty cool.

Also, anyone who catches some of my tweets knows that I complain have mentioned how most laptops have a high pitched whine that those of us with dog hearing can hear.  Bugs the heck out of me.  Yeah, using earphones and listening to music helps.  But…I finally bought a desktop computer for my home office with an awesome Acer huge monitor.  SEE?!?  Yeah, that’s my new screen saver.  Cool, huh?  Yes, I’ll still use my laptop–I like writing other places.  But while at home…this is the tops.

I’ve been worried about friends on the east coast and hurricane Irene.  So far, everyone is okay.  Our weather has been fantastic.  It’s been about ninety degrees here with almost no humidity.  I would enjoy this more if I wasn’t inside writing.  But oh well.

Oh – I’m also gearing up for another blog tour.  This one to promote CLAIMED, which will be released in print form on October 25th and can be downloaded electronically on November 1st.  You can pre-order now.  *Hint* *Hint*.  🙂  I’ll post the dates of where I’ll be when and if I’m giving something away that day.  If there’s a topic you’d like to see covered, please let me know.  I’m looking for topics.

Other than that…everyone stay safe!

CLAIMED’s first Review…

on August 8, 2011

Hi all!  The fabulous Wanda over at Good Choice Reading just posted the first review for Claimed.  She seems to like the Kayrs brothers.  To quote Wanda, “all the brothers are sexy. If I were one of their mates, I wouldn’t let my mate out of my sight. The power they all possess will make any woman fall on her knees (Literally).”  🙂

Also…there’s a contest going on at Good Choice for an ARC of Claimed as well as a signed copy of Fated.  I think the contest runs until next Sunday.  Drop by here and comment to win.

Giveaway–CLAIMED ARC’s Have Arrived…

on July 25, 2011

UPDATE:  I used random.org to draw numbers corresponding to the names of people commenting on this blog, FaceBook and Twitter–and the two winners are:   Kylie Rae and Asa Maria Bradley!  CONGRATULATIONS to both of you — I’ll be sending you an email to see where to send these.  Thank you to everyone who entered–I’ll do another giveaway on the Brava Blog on August 5th.

The magnificent Megan sent me CLAIMED ARC’s, and I’d love to give TWO away.  So, here’s the deal.  Leave a comment below for one chance to win.  The comment can be about anything–just say hi.  For another chance, follow me on twitter and tweet about the chance to win.  You can retweet my tweet about the contest, or you can create your own.  Remember to put @rebeccazanetti in it so you get counted.  For a third and final chance to win an ARC, like me on my facebook author page, and leave a comment on my wall.  THREE chances to win…and you don’t have to do them all if you don’t want.  (Contests that make you do all three drive me crazy.)

I will use random.org to draw a name after midnight, PST on Wednesday–so the contest is open until that time.  I’ll send ARC’s anywhere in the world, no geographical limitations.  Also, if you win, I’d really appreciate it if you put up a couple reviews – at book sites such as Amazon, Goodreads, Barnes & Noble, etc.  Thanks and good luck!

So, have you seen an ARC up close?  Do you like the orange?  What do you have planned this week?

Cynthia Eden provided a cover quote for CLAIMED!

on May 17, 2011

As you probably know, CLAIMED has a very cool cover and now I have coverflats!  What you don’t know, is that the fabulous Cynthia Eden was kind enough to give us a cover quote.  Here it is:

CLAIMED is paranormal romance at its best! With intense action, fiery hot scenes, and a hero worth dying for–literally!–CLAIMED is a book not to be missed.

If you’ve read my blog, you know Cynthia is one of my favorite authors.  So receiving such an awesome quote from her is exciting…and humbling.  I just can’t thank her enough for taking the time out of her very busy, multi publishing schedule to not only read CLAIMED but to write a quote.

Here’s the back cover:

A DARING RESCUE

Emma Paulsen is a geneticist driven by science.  But she’s also a psychic, so when a dark, good-hearted vampire frees her from the clutches of the evil Kurjans, she realizes he must be the man who’s been haunting her dreams.  But with a virus threatening vampire mates, Emma may discover a whole new meaning of “lovesick”…

A DEADLY DECISION

As King of the Realm, Dage Kayrs has learned to practice diplomacy.  Still, it’s taken three hundred years to find his mate, so he’ll stop at nothing to protect her–even if it means turning his back on his own kind…

So…how about we give away a cover flat of CLAIMED along with a bookmark for FATED?  I’ll leave the contest open for a week or so.   Just leave a comment–about anything you want.  If all else fails, just say ‘hi.’  🙂
